Frederick Reines (an American physicist)

Born: March 16, 1918 Paterson, New Jersey, Died: August 26, 1998 (aged 80)

In 1944 Reines began working in the Theoretical Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Reines dedicated the major part of his career to the study of the neutrino’s properties and interactions.
